After holding its first “Direct Mini” event in March, Nintendo has announced that it’s holding another one, albeit on a smaller scale. What’s more, it’s happening very soon — this morning at 10 AM ET, to be exact.
Back when Crysis debuted in 2007, it was nigh-on unfathomable that you’d be able to play the notoriously power-hungry game pretty much anywhere. Crytek is releasing Crysis Remastered on Nintendo Switch and other platforms. A gameplay trailer (via Polygon) shows it in action on the hybrid console, and considering the hardware limitations of Switch compared with more powerful systems, it looks pretty impressive.
Following yesterday’s tantalizing tweet, Lego has officially unveiled its brick-based replica of the iconic Nintendo Entertainment System (which just so happens to turn 37 tomorrow). The kit also comes with a special 'Action Brick' that can be scanned by the Lego Mario that comes with the upcoming Starter Course play set. Of course, any NES wouldn't be complete without a rectangular controller and cartridge.
When the Nintendo DS came with a stylus at launch, some developers used this feature to create drawing games for the portable console. Fast forward to today, and while Nintendo sells a “dumb” stylus for the Switch separately, Andersson is taking one step further with his upcoming Colors Live, bundling it with the pressure-sensitive SonarPen.
Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa apologized for problems with the Switch’s Joy-Cons during a recent Q&A. “We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our customers regarding Joy-Con,” Furukawa said.
